BROILER FRYER: Daily Delmarva Broiler/Fryer
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds remained light and selective
for midweek business. Offerings were noted as at least adequate
to readily available. Live supplies were moderate; weights were
mixed, but usually desirable. Processing schedules were moderate.
Less than trucklot asking prices were unchanged to one cent lower
at 71 to 84 cents. Trade sentiment was barely steady. In the parts
complex, breast items were reported as fair to closely balanced.
Wings were clearing well and seasonally improved. Dark meat cuts
were mostly sufficient.
